Project overview
Checquers Lane followed directly on from Park Royal and was delivered well ahead of programme. The package brought together substrate framing, weatherproofing and fire-stopping on the same elevation under a single coordinated install.
Each element of the build-up — SFS, Siniat board, EPDM, VCL, breather membrane, fire barriers and capping — was sequenced so the elevation could be sealed and signed off in defined zones. Inspections were lined up early in each zone with the Principal Contractor and Clerk of Works to keep the programme moving without re-work.
