Project overview
The West Downs Centre is a teaching facility at the University of Winchester for IT, digital and related disciplines. The build used modern envelope materials and required creative install methods for the GRC wall cladding and corten panel detailing.
Coordination on this project was led by weekly install targets and a tight reporting rhythm into project, façade and site management. The install crew was kept ahead of inspection — each elevation was readied for sign-off with the Principal Contractor and architects so progress could carry through without snag back-pressure.
